CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to experience as much local culture as I can while travelling. While I want to see the world's amazing sights, I appreciate experiencing local people/traditions. I want to hear and play music everywhere I go and love to meet other musicians.

ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving, music loving 27 year old guy. I am open minded and easy to get along with. I love to share what I have. I like to go with the flow, drink, and have a general great time wherever I am. I love to travel and experiences new things, but mostly love to experience new people. Anything involving music, drinking, laughing, eating good food, and/or being outdoors will make me happy.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not necessarily believe in Karma, but I believe that what goes around comes around. If you are a generous, kind, and funny person, I think that you will meet like minded people who are the same way. I believe in being a good person for the simple reason of enjoying being a good person, and do not want or expect anything in return. Laughter is the key element to enjoying life. I don't take things too seriously and love to go with the flow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have couch surfed in Bogota and Cali, Colombia, and Talca and Punta Arenas, Chile Have met many surfers and hosts throughout South America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed twice in Colombia and twice in Chile, and have met many other surfers and hosts while traveling in South America. Everyone I have met has been wonderful and I love being an active member of this community. I think it is an amazing idea and such a cool way to meet new people from all over the world.

Interesses

I am a musician and a music fanatic. Seeing live music is my favorite activity. I also love to experience local and traditional foods, and appreciate good home cooking, as I enjoy cooking myself. I like to spend my time listening to music, reading, eating, being with friends, and I enjoy going out at night. I love to hike, swim, and be outdoors.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

On the tail end of an extremely long trek in New Zealand, with no flashlight, no map, and no ride home, my buddy and I were out of food and ready to be off the trail after 5 days of hiking. When we had about 5 miles to go (which we were unaware of) and running out of sunlight and energy, I saw a pickup truck to my right barging through the river. The man inside of it yelled at me to get in! So i trudged though the water, told him I had a friend about 100 yards up, and off we were. This Kiwi guy drove my friend and I out of the wilderness, knowing that we had bit off more than we could chew for the day. He took us to the closest bar where we sat and had some beers and laughs, then dropped us where he said would be the easiest spot to hitch a ride the next day.
