About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making new friends :)
ABOUT ME
Been around a while. Feels like a lifetime! Studied some, worked some, travelled some. Been busy & active, been quiet & still. But seldom have I been at peace. I have yet to find a place to drop my anchor. Many times I have tried, but some storm always blows up & hurls me back out to sea
I lived in cities & villages & forests & caves. In the desert, on the plain, by the mountains & the sea. Been roasted & parched by the sun, swamped by the rain & mud, frozen by the ice & snow. Climbed the highest peaks to see an incredible view, disappeared from sight in the crowd. Lost myself in the traffic, found myself alone by the river. Feasted on the fruits of the ocean, been feasted upon by the bugs in the jungle. Written stories, read tomes, taken pictures, made music, shared adventures, lived, loved, lost, found
Nothing remains as it was nor quite works out how we planned. The path is never straight nor without unknown hurdles. Everything changes, is in a constant state of flux. We must be prepared to adapt & change too if we are to complete the journey
It's been interesting. And exciting. And stimulating. And fun. But hard at times. And lonely. And tiring. But it's been real :)
PHILOSOPHY
In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter & the sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning & is refreshed
- Be a lamp unto yourself & seek your own liberation with diligence
- Every problem contains the seed of its own solution
- Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it
- Open yourself to opportunity & it will find you
- You will never achieve what you never begin
- Shit happens: deal with it
