ABOUT ME
Hello there, we are back on couchsurfing after a long time, this time as a couple. We are a couple of globettroters and geeks, yet oddly funny and outgoing. One is a lawyer, the other an anthropologist/journalist. When we are not traveling, our passion is teaching,. We are both college professors. Idealistic, but very practical in term of adaptability to different situations. We love art and culture, specially MOVIES. But also enjoy outdoor sports like rock climbing.
PHILOSOPHY
We believe that life gives opportunities to those who look for them... 2 words changed our lives: Carpe Diem (seize the day), because is true. Make the most of the cards you were dealt, for you and the others
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are eager to meet new people and new places. If a place is as good as the people you meet then we hope to meet interesting people and openminded. So yes, we want to try couchsurfing as a new traveling experience as a couple
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I, Nestor, tried couchsurfing, when i was younger. I actually met great friends by doing so. So I kind of convinced Edu to try it (it didnt take much effort, he is even more outgoing than i am).
Interests
We love movies, yoga literature, music lets say we are on a constant negotiation. Néstor is always with a book in his bag, and Edu always ready to prepare something delicious at the kitchen. Something we share is we love making new friends, especially when we travel

Music, Movies, and Books
favorite book: the silmarillion and the count of montecristo; music: indie rock like black keys or the temper trap; movies: to many to recount, as long as it has a good story; but I think Empire Strikes Back, Amelie, Lord of the Rings, Shelter, Lion King, 2001 a space odyssey, to name a few
Let's put it like this: Edu makes fun of me because we share space with my books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting each other was pretty incredible lol
Well visiting La Habana was really incredible, being at the oldest bookstore in the world (Portugal), Scooba diving in Colombia (Nestor)
Leading a choreography at a cruise party, climbing snowpeaks in Ecuador, and many stories about living in the Amazon (Edu)
Teach, Learn, Share
We are both professors so you would imagine we are passionate about learning. And learning about new places, food, culture, arts... well that's the reason for traveling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We offer traveling tips, fun and interesting chats, we are very respectful of other peoples habits, very clean as well. With us, you will have new friends more than simply guests.
