About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet friendly, interesting people and try to make the world a better place

ABOUT ME

I've been living in the same place my whole life and I'm ready to travel. I hope to meet new people and learn as much as I can. My friends would probably say I'm a mellow, friendly, honest guy. I always try to be respectful and considerate of others. Not the most talkative person, but I hope to work on that.

PHILOSOPHY

The ultimate goal in life for me is to develop and understand my mind and make the most of my life by helping others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I can only surf and hang out with couchsurfers, but soon I hope to have a place for others to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've spent two days with an awesome host in Richmond, Virginia for a CouchSurfing event held there. It was an amazing first time experience.

Interests

One of my biggest interests is to start working toward social and environmental responsibility and humane education. I recently got into Buddhism and meditation and want to pursue that much more.

I'm interested in meeting lots of people from lots of different places, cultures, and backgrounds. Traveling around the world and spending time with kind strangers would be the best education to me.

Cycling is my favorite hobby, and I can't get enough of it. I'm always looking for new places to ride and new people to ride with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Most Good, Least Harm - by Zoe Weil

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to the Dalai Lama give a speech in person and feeling so inspired to do more with my life.
Going canoeing in a swamp and passing a few feet from an eight or ten foot alligator sun bathing on a log was an exciting experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have a lot to offer yet. I'm sort of just now starting my life all over, and with enough time and experience I hope to have much more to share and teach. I'm open and eager to learn from others.
