Hey people I'm traveling right now in Middle East and cannot host!

I live in Moscow for now. I love moving, traveling, new sceneries, cities and people. I catch myself moving every few months: be it inside the city or a longer trip somewhere further. I study politics and law and do (political) art. I love traveling alone and prefer hitchhiking when possible. (Of course you're never alone when traveling alone :))

I'm spontaneous and adventurous. Smiling all the time when around people. Life is lovely: full of beauty.

I'm always on some project, be it writing to a magazine, some political activism, charity thing, new theatre piece or just some extra interesting course at the uni. This fall I've dwelled in the ancient Finnish culture, religion and mythodology and been active in Refugees Welcome Finland network.

After high school I spent a year wandering around the continent of South America. The mission was to find myself, in the jungle or by the mountains. That didn't happen but I came to realize how complex and simple everything is at the same time.

Soon I'm off to another longer adventure in the Caribbean. I'd like to learn to sail properly.

As a longer term life dream, I think I'm going to be a lawyer. Also a teacher (ethics), a journalist, a writer/director and a researcher. In short, I want a better world.

I'm learning to live according to these dreams today and not just running towards them, missing the now in search of the beautiful madness they call life.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to be still and really pay attention to the beautiful world we live in; notice the small things and the beauty in them.

I seek truth as in seeking the real essence of life, us humans and the universe we've been thrown into.

I want to be present. Present at the moment and place I'm living, present to the people I encounter. I want to be true, and others to be true to me. I think that's the best thing you can give a fellow human being: your attention and the moment you share.

To ask questions. To question the answers. To embrace the uncertainty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing and hosting! Mostly surfing so far, and hosting some events for surfers. Once I took a big group of CSers for a night swim in Helsinki. Was lovely.

I lived CSing for a year in South America, Caribbean and Europe. I've surfed in Finland, too, and arranged events here for surfers. I've hosted once.

I'm on Couchsurfing because this is just a really great way to ACTUALLY travel; actually get to know the places you visit. The people make the place :)

Interests

Books, music, photography, theater. Arts, from the past and the performances in this moment in time.
Musicals. I have acted in one (one of the coolest things I've ever done!) and written songs to another one.
Degrowth, permaculture, sustainability.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can of course teach Finnish and every other language I know. I love to talk about novels and poetry I've read, and plays and movies I've seen, so if we share an experience on some piece of art, I'm sure the conversation on it will be interesting. I can also play piano and teach you what I know: not much in theory but some more in practice. Singing in harmonies is one my hobbies, too. I listen to music and then start making up a harmony to the melody. Fun fun!
I can cook and bake quite creatively and teach that. I can teach you how to travel very lightly backbagwise and tightly budgetwise :)

I'd love to get better at photographing. I'd love to get better at acting as well. I'm studying economics and French by myself at the moment, any help in those would be much appreciated!
