ABOUT ME

He works with technology, and often too much. Sometimes aloof or just a little abstract. Loves the outdoors and good times with friends and family, but doesn't do enough of either. Perhaps a bit hypomanic.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a humanist, futurist, and business dude. I want to better the world while making a comfortable life for myself and the people I love. I am an extheist with my own spirituality informed by eastern and western religion as well as neuroscience. I love learning, and am getting better at being wrong.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only couchsurfed once so far and it was great! A friend and I spent a night with a nice couple in Palm Springs before going to Coachella 2013.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as books: Sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian futures, and anything that spotlights human behavior. Lots of business and tech, too.

Music: Post-rock, classic rock, hip hop, and really anything given the right mood. Really love fusion and experimental. Sigur Ros for life. Also, The Album Leaf.

Movies: Documentaries, comedies, sci-fi, and fantasy. I enjoy good movies and bad movies, meaty movies and vapid yet spectacular or earnest movies. Waking Life, Almost Famous, Metropolis, Gladiator, and The Matrix are a few of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love jumping out of planes! Only done it twice, though.
