About Me

Sharing. Learning. Growing.

ABOUT ME
Really enthusiastic and positive. Music lover. Full of energy. Love outdoors and adventures.

After I finished college I move to Mazunte, a beach town in Mexico to start my own business: A coffee shop. Now, after a bit more of two years of restaurant-management I want to travel around, get to know costumes of other places, tell others of the places that I've been and make new friends.

I just started a marketing agency with my best friend wich allows me to travel and work from almost everywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

You get what you give.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i first move to Mazunte, my next house neighbor always had new people from all over the globe at his house. Some left and others arrived but his house was always full of people having a good time on his garden, playing some music, drinking wine or listening to his records collection. When I asked him why was he always traveling around or hosting people his answer was simple: Couchsurfing. Ever since, I've hosted a couple of surfers and now finally have Time to start surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly literature but some philosophy and essay from time to time. Some of my favorites are: Alessandro Baricco, Anthony Burgess, Amelie Nothomb, Ernesto Sabato, Roberto Bolaño, Juan Rulfo, Sidney Sheldon, Fernando Lobo, Guillermo Fadanelli.

Music: I like all kind of music. I have a radio show so I have to listen to many genres but here are some of my favorites i can think of right now: John Frusciante, Caifanes, Juan son, Foxygen, T. Rex, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Bowie, Kevin Ayers, Joy Divison, Incubus, Fela Kuti, Arcade Fire, Julian Cope, Portishead, Air, Nicolas Jaar, Animal Collective and many many many more.

Movies: I'm not that picky about movies. Watching a movie for me is a way to disconnect for some hours from reality and try to see trough the director eyes. Some of my favorite directors: Wes Anderson, Richard Linklater, Vincent Gallo, David Fincher and Cronenberg, Tarantino, Luis Buñuel (I really enjoy the "Golden age of mexican movies"), Alfonso Cuaron, Stanley kubrick and many more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've achieve many small things that are amazing but in terms of traveling I would say it was traveling from NYC to California and then going down to Mexico across the Pacific Coast Highway.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about everything. I read as much as I can and right now I'm looking forward to learn a new language. I've imparted spanish, guitar, and creative writing lessons and I would happily share this knowledge with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation. Wine. I bring coffee to share wherever I go. Singing. Jamming. Watching a movie. Cleaning the place. Sharing my couch back home :)
