About Me

Hello, my name is Daniel and I was born and raised in Rio. For study-related reasons, I was given the chance to live for a while in San Diego-CA and Stuttgart-GER (where I still live).

I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know many cities around the globe, learn a little of their dialects, tastes and build strong relationships.

What drives me the most is planning and building things, but not in a boring way :D

Oi, meu nome é Daniel, nasci e cresci no Rio.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do believe in the power of 'belonging'. The most efficient way of belonging to a new place is spending time and sharing experiences with a local.

Interests

Everything. And I mean it.
I can go on for hours about how messed up is all the prejudice latin people face when they go abroad, then I can simply switch to German manufacturing methods for engineering, if you will (I hope you won't :D).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A backpacking trip to Bolivia, Chile and Peru. It was the initial spark of a lifelong journey.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I first put on a profile on couchsurfing.com, I had a place for myself so I could take guests overnight.

Right now I'm living in a student dorm in Stuttgart-GER, so having fellow surfers crash with me is a little more than complicated. The maximum I can offer right now is a walk-around of Stuttgart or any of the nearby towns and some hours of good company. Ah, we can go hiking too, if hiking is your thing!

I can speak fluent Portuguese and English. I can do a pretty good job in Spanish and German too (depending on your patience).

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Chile, France, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Germany, United States
