About Me

CURRENT MISSION

broadening my horizons

ABOUT ME

I was born in Santos and lived there until my 10 years old. So I think I have a strong conection with the ocean, despite not being a skilled swimmer. I'm also a Santos F.C. fan and fond of soccer in general.
Today I live in São José dos Campos but I have lived in many places, like Curitiba and São Paulo. So I have no problem about geting to know a new city by myself, but with companion is always better.
During my free time, I try to avoid spending time with television, I usualy prefer outside activities or even a book. But I enjoy movies and videogames.
My friends usually describes me as intelligent, calm and free-thinking

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I went to Rio de Janeiro, 2 years ago. I stayed at my friend's apartment, at the same day me and my sister arrived, a guy from Sweden was arriving there too, to stay as a guest. During the three days we were there we made a very nice friendship, sharing our experiences and teaching each other our languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music and I love to discover new groups and styles. Currently I am listening to things like Ladyhawke, CutCopy, Goldfrapp, The twelves, Ronald Jenkees, Daft Punk. These are my favorites at the moment.
From television I'm a big fan of The Simpsons, The Office and 30 Rock.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is a site which I think is awesome for language learning, it's called LingQ. The main philosophy there is that you don't need to spend time studying grammar to master a language. We learn through extensive listening and reading content in that language. I made some podcasts for those learning Portuguese, you can check here: http://www.lingq.com/learn/pt/store/53243/

I am trying to improve my cooking skills, so this is something I'd like to learn.
