About Me

I am extremely happy to be able to go back to Japan for a few weeks this year. My last experience there (in 2013) was so amazing, in great part thanks to Couchsurfing; I really hope I will get to experience some more this time!

ABOUT ME

I am a medical school student in Montreal (graduated biology in 2013)

I can be shy when meeting groups but overall I love meeting new people; I can be a little crazy with my friends but I know when to be serious also.
I like to go out but also just hang out with friends.

My travels in Japan in 2013 definitely gave me the taste for
adventure :)
I went back on the road the next years: summer 2013 and 2014 I went to Europe (France, UK, Denmark), in 2015, Scotland, Kenya and France, and last yea,r Portugal. This year I have the chance to go back to Asia and I am so happy!

I'm also very geeky haha

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest; you will get hurt, but if it brought you something good (and it usually does, even if it's not so obvious at the time), it was worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd be glad to show around Montreal to people.

I would really like to host but I still don't have my own place so it is not possible yet.

When I stay at people's places I try to be a good guest and I love sharing experiences with my hosts when it is possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got to couchsurf around Japan, and it was such an amazing experience that allowed me to meet great people and do plenty of activities I never would have done.
I hope to be able to do it again soon and to host when it will be possible.

Interests

I love to bake!
I learned some Japanese (and need to keep practicing...) to go to Japan, and I like languages in general even though I major in sciences (I love medicine and biology too though!)
I also like being outdoors, hiking etc. when I can

I'm mostly open to anything! I love trying out new stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots and lots and lots of things! I unfortunately didn't read as much as I would've liked to in the past years because of my studies but I would like to make more time for it again.
I like most kinds of music and I love getting suggestions (whether it be for books, movies, or music)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life in general. Since I started studying biology I realize that, yes, it's a wonderful world, and we need to protect it.
And now I joined the health industry because I want to be able to be with be with people in need and help them.
I love to travel because it shows me amazing places and lets me meet lovely indivuals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about anything and everything, and I think everyone has something interesting to bring to others.
I want to learn more about different cultures, which I'm glad I got to do in Japan and hope to do in many countries for the years coming up.
I am also learning Japanese, would like to improve, and would be happy to help anyone with their English or French.

I don't really know what I can teach to others, and my medical knowledge is not yet extended enough for it to be useful, but if I can make myself useful by other means I'd love to! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel stories, food, hopefully nice experiences :)
