About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

ABOUT ME

I am easy-going, fun-loving, and very easy to get along with. I grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh and I know how to fit in pretty much any circumstance. I am strong willed and independent and not afraid to venture out on my own! I work as a flight attendant so I have awesome travelling benefits, and I am trying to take advantage of that as much as I can!

PHILOSOPHY

I treat people as I like to be treated. I am not very religious, but I respect all. I believe if you are a good person, that's all that matters!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to CS meetings here in Atlanta, make new friends, and couchsurf whenever I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have only couchsurfed in Thailand

Interests

I love art, meeting new people and just making connections as I go. I love learning new things and always open to new experiences. Some of my other interests are: yoga, meditation, psychology, baby animals, hiking, fashion, interior design, jewelry-making, shopping, languages, table-tennis, Tibetan Buddhism, etc etc (not in any particular order).

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely adore Radiohead. Love this band called The National. Love other bands/singers like Interpol, Damien Rice, Alanis Morissette, Pete Yorn, etc. I love books based on true adventures, Jon Krakauer is awesome! I also enjoy Buddhist principled books to remind me of what's important and what I need to focus on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dharamsala has been the most amazing place I have been to. You can't walk around McLeod Ganj without running into monks, who are always eager to chat with you and polish up their English. I spent a few days there meditating at His Holiness's temple, teaching English to the monks, and meeting some really cool people. This place is very spiritual and the setting is magnificent!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't pretend to know a lot but I do think that I have what it takes to go somewhere new, not speak the language and still have a good time, and not run into any trouble.

Countries I’ve Visited
