Well I haven't participated at all yet. Only heard of this site from a woman I met in Victoria that was visiting from France. I don't like depending on other people or asking for help so I don't know how many couches I'll be sleeping on;) but if the timing is right and the person is cool I'd be happy to host a couchsurfer
