ABOUT ME

I love animals and have a wide assortment of pets. I like meeting people. I've traveled all over the country but I don't get to go as often as I'd like.. Hoping to make a few new friends while introducing them to our beautiful home town of Loveland, Colorado located at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Family first, dogs second. Question is, are Beagles dogs or family?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Someone recently asked me "What do you get out of it?... C/S?" It's first and foremost a cultural exchange. Well, you get the satisfaction of knowing you are helping travelers and the pleasure of making new friends . I'm in this to meet new and interesting people. So far we have made new friends from Canada, Poland, Denmark, and a few closer to home! Bobby Valentine even braved the rough & ready western town to play a free concert on my porch. It's great fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed before they had a name like that for it, while traveling through the New England area many years ago. I loved meeting new people. I always invite my friends and relatives to stay. The best time of the day for visiting is over coffee in the morning and telling stories at the end of the evening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Chichen Itza and climbed the pyramid. I've traveled coast to coast across the USA, but I love coming home to Colorado the most!
