About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and make friends related to a healthy lifestyle

ABOUT ME

At the beginning of February I decided to travel to Toronto to see what the big city was all about. After discovering the energy of a bigger city I decided to call it my home. Right away I found 2 jobs, one at a hemp clothing store and another at a gluten free vegan restaurant. I enjoy eating mostly plant based raw foods; I find a plant based diet makes me feel my best. Now and then I may have dairy and maybe a piece of fish now and then. I am Non-judgemental so feel free to eat and prepare whatever you want around me. It doesn't bug me at all and I am not someone who will tell you what to do or eat. Please check out my YouTube channel to see me and my philosophy in action and to get a better understanding of who I am so you know I'm not crazy. http://youtube.com/davidjohn83

PHILOSOPHY

Be positive and treat others the way you would like to be treated. Allow yourself to feel every emotion and take care of yourself so you are able to take care of others. Make the best of what you have and share the love. Live in the moment and dont spend to much time in the past or future. Try everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just found a new place to live and hopefully will be able to host shortly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is a great way to meeting similar open minded people. I am looking for shelter but also to meet new awesome friends as I'm new to the city. I've fallen in love with the couch-surfing philosophy and even tho many say its dying and not what it use to be, i like to stay positive and I'm really enjoying meeting people this way. This is what life is all about, helping each other and loving each-other for who they are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Following my heart to Toronto is the most amazing thing I've done. I took the greyhound bus across Canada. It was quite an amazing experience stopping at each city and small town getting to meet the salt of the earth.

In my spare time in Vancouver I used my talents to creating an online street art & style blog and print magazine for Vancouver. That was one of my favorite things I've done with my spare time. Being on the streets and people watching is a beautiful thing. Working on this project really helped my self confidence and made me become more outgoing, and by breaking through this fear I was gifted to be able to meet all different types of colorful people off the street which resulted in some great friendships, invitations and networking connections.

Discovering the world of raw food is my most blessed experience, it leaves me feeling great and positive. A healthy lifestyle is now my passion and I hope to share what I learn as I discover more and more about a healthy lifestyle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning from entrepreneurs and people who are knowledgeable in my interests and always jump at the chance to share what I have learned.
