About Me
Hey all!
I'm a 24 year old living in San Francisco, studying Biology but taking a break from school to live life and enjoy my 20s a little bit.
I grew up in the mountains for most of my life and moved out here for college. I love being outdoors and am always kind of plotting my future adventures but haven't really been able to save enough money to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet locals along the way. Backpacking by myself will generally be pretty lonely so it would be nice to meet some people while I can and see local stuff and get the inside scoop!
Interests
I study Biology but my primary interest is Neuroscience and Physiology
I love being active: I'm a runner, snowboarder, yogi, and sports lover in general!
I'm a bit of a thrill seeker and am generally looking to have a good time no matter what I'm doing!

Music, Movies, and Books
as far as music goes, I love anything pretty much before 1990. Oldies are great!
Books, just a few:
Frankenstein, Mary Shelley
Illiad, Homer
Wild, Cheryl Strayed
The Art of Happiness
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure that I consider this amazing and I would like to say I've saved someones life (that's kind of what I want to do for a living) but when I was 16, I won a concerto competition (flute), won a bunch of money and performed as a soloist for the local symphony. It was on the radio, so it was pretty cool for that time in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can obviously read music and am more than willing to teach anyone to read music. I love to talk about what I'm learning (not that I'm qualified to teach) but I am passionate about it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've kinda been on a memoir binge lately and I love hearing people's stories, and sharing experiences. I'm always thinking of how I could be better, and learning about other people and their lives helps fine tune my perspective. But as far as being a guest- I like to be very helpful in any way I can!
