About Me

CURRENT MISSION

keep balance :)

ABOUT ME

Let's see. I'm quite an open-minded person, but to some extent you can see me as an indifferent girl sometimes. I always feel unsecured about almost everything, and I guess somehow that makes my life an adventure already. I love travelling (duh!) as a backpacker. I like the feeling when you're at a strange place, feeling scared and confused, asking yourself "what the heck am I doing? I could've taken tours", but then at the same time you feel the thrill, the excitement to just go with it. At the end of day, you think to yourself "It's not so bad. Turns out I can handle of things. The scenery was stunning too". You know what I'm talking about, right?

PHILOSOPHY

As long as it's fun. All the rest shall fade away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a plan to go to Cambodia in February 2013, so I did some research and knew about CS. The idea was fantastic. However, back then I was frightened by all kind of silly thoughts, you know, like "what if I'd be hosted by a psycho", smt like that. It's a pity that I didn't couchsurf to Cam (though I did travel to Cam). After that, I started to join CS Hanoi and meet new people and find myself interested in such activities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some :) but only as a couchsurfer so far. Though love to host new friends, my condition doesn't allow me. But it's be my pleasure to help you with whatever you wanna know (as long as you ask what I know haha). Or maybe a cup of coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music: i'm a huge fan of jazz. Love Norah Jones, Rachael Yamagata, Joanna Wang. And so much more.
- Book: Human voice (Phan Viet); The Boat (Nam Le); The catcher in the Rye (J.D. Salinger); The FountainHead (Ayn Rand). Trying to finish, like, dozens of books that I bought on a whim. Yeah, I'm a book-a-holic :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be a shy girl, so I guess the most amazing thing I've ever done is travelling alone to Cambodia (Feb 2013) and meeting new people by joining CS.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you everything I know and am very keen to learn all that you can teach :P
And share life's lesson?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some basic phrases in Vietnamese. I'm quite good at it (I mean at speaking Vietnamese, not teaching :P ).

I love cooking (even though I can only make simple Vietnamese dishes) and I'd be glad to make you some in the hope that I won't be kicked out of your couch after you taste them!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Philippines
