ABOUT ME

I am an actor and a writer. I've been living in Toronto for the last 9.5 years, but have also lived in Montreal, Winnipeg, Scotland and England. I've not been active on couchsurfing for years, but was drawn back to it when I recently met a couchsurfer.

I've traveled around large chunks of Canada, and Europe and love exchanging stories about places and people. I also used to be a tour guide here in Toronto, and a bit of a local history nut. Am very willing to show people around and tell them lots about the area.

Couchsurfing is important to me as it encompasses a few things that I think are essential to my life. These are; hospitality, kindness to strangers, opening horizons and minds (through people you meet) and also travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted many people here in Toronto and in Kingston. It's been a great experience. I've surfed only the once through couchsurging.org , in Istanbul, but have crashed on the couches of many in Europe, Canada and the USA.

Music..ermm, whatever my friends give me...and movies...I like stories that are honest, and not overly dramatic; like "Etre et Avoir," "lost in Translation," "Spirited Away."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of a few people that made the longest paper-clip chain IN THE WORLD!! Three and a half times the length of Manhatten Island!!

Teach, Learn, Share

many things...I want to learn to kayak better, be relaxed all the time, to run further, yoga, ummm, there's more, but i'm trying to think of it all at once and so nothing's coming out!

I can teach music, acting, guitar, piano, tai chi (a little). A Canadian accent - haha, doesn't everyone want a Canadian Accent eh?
