Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Like I said I want to experience as much as possible in life and why not share those experiences. So as long as you're a decent person with admirable intentions, I'm willing to interact with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CSed in the US and Thailand, which opened up my eyes to how special this concept is. Its a near blind exchange to a stranger who you put so much trust and caring into. But then again the people involved are not really complete strangers, as they share similar approaches and values to partake in Couchsurfing.

Culture- this includes pretty much all aspects such as sports, customs, celebrations, foods, music and did I say sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where do I start. Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction are just some of the many notables. The wire and breaking bad have led me to rehabilitation from addiction to great TV.
Music wise, anything really. Particularly like Modest Mouse, the Strokes, the National, Beach House, Hot Chip, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem and yeah just countless others.
Folk should read Nellie Mandelas' book, Long Walk to Freedom. Title is not to be underestimated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life in all its shapes and forms, take on different kinds of amazing. Many different moments from places home in Melbourne to cities abroad make up the most amazing thing that is life.

When in Rome do as Romans do- Ron Burgandy (that is a pretty cheesey quote I admit). But what I'm really trying to say is immerse yourself in culture when you get the chance and when an opportunity comes explore it as much a you personally are able to.
