Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back at home, we often had people from around the world staying at our place. My parents were no official couch surfers, but they were always open for guests.This attitude is one of the best things they passed on to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about Couchsurfing from a hitchhiker in Australia about ten years ago. It changed my way of travelling. I really like to meet the locals while I am abroad and Couchsurfing for me is the best way to do so. Thanks to the couchsurfing community I made very good friends.

Interests

As most people here, I like traveling. I like to get to new places, meet new people and make new experiences. On a nice day I enjoy a ride with my bicycle.

Music, Movies, and Books

I agree with IMDB that the godfather is the best movie. Nevertheless, I just watched it twice, unlike Lord of the Rings, the old Star Wars movies and Indiana Jones movies, which I can watch over and over again.

Ken Follet really stunned me with Pillars of the Earth. Other books I enjoyed were Daniel Kehlmann´s Die Vermessung der Welt and Mark Heddon´s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Right now I desperatly wait for the next volume of "A song of ice and fire". In the meantime I watch the great adoption "Game of thrones".
