About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish this PhD before it finishes me.

ABOUT ME

I love coffee, cooking, music and anything outdoors. I don't watch a lot of broadcast television (no cable or streaming TV at home) but do like Criminal Minds sometimes. Movies are great. I love reading about and discussing philosophy, sociology, ecology, theology, psychology, geology,...basically any ology. I like making up words and using ellipses and quotations frequently.
Completed a Master of Arts degree at Appalachian State University where my thesis focused on a case study of the Virginia Creeper and cycling culture's impact on a small Appalachian town.
I'm now a PhD student at University of Florida in Gainesville!

PHILOSOPHY

One Revolution: Whether it's the revolution of pedals on a bicycle or a revolution that changes a people, region, country or family I believe our world needs a new wave of revolutionaries!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed, hosted and met for drinks in many places around the world with CSers and great people who don't even know about this movement but just love life and neighbors from anywhere. I intentionally found a place with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a lot now and hosted a few times when I was temporarily stationary. Can't wait to host more frequently!
