About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hijinx and general whathaveyou, mostly without a helmet.

ABOUT ME

Multimedia connector of peoples. My first film project was completed in The West Bank. Currently producing a podcast that highlights underrepresented communities and issues around the world through interviews with people working at the grassroots.

Before that I had a project that took me all over the Middle East and South Asia called The Virtual Dinner Guest Project. I connected people around the world at their dinner tables using videoconferencing and a shared meal. I founded a nonprofit in Amsterdam in 2015 :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be a lover of wisdom

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be of service to the CS community where and when I am able. I love this idea!

I am so grateful to the CS community across the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe!

I'd like to host more, but I am always on the go these days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of places. Overwhelmingly positive.

Interests

triathlons, hiking, reading, traveling (solo and in two's), good conversation (religion and politics are welcome), The Beatles, zombie movies, laying about in the sun.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music and film tastes are pretty eclectic.

as for books, I dig history, classic literature, and non-fiction adventure stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Why pick just one? Sunsets in New Mexico and on the Zambezi and Nile rivers, floating in the Dead Sea, jumping off draw-bridges in the dark, getting completely lost in the woods, subsisting on humus, avocados, and chocolate for weeks (not related to the previous statement), wrestling with wolves, hanging out the side of a train as it wove through tea plantations and jungles in central Sri Lanka... and leaving the toilet seat down... EVERY time

Teach, Learn, Share
