I'm a bit of an existentionalist. Treat others how you want to be treated, and as long as you are not hurting anyone else, you are cool in my book.

I have hosted many people but I haven't surfed yet.. hopefully I will try that out soon.

Interests

I am interested in developing countries, public health, learning languages, neuroscience and research. I have spent time in Tanzania where I was teaching kids, and grown women and men randomly on the streets and in classrooms about HIV prevention. Since then i have also lived in Zambia Livingstone- perhaps my favorite place i have lived in so far- surrounded by beautiful friends, the Zambezi river, Victoria waterfalls and elephants. I also lived in Egypt.

I myself was born out of the states, in Siberia (Novosibirsk, Russia). I moved to California when I was 7. Went to college in LA and then grad school in Boston.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have participated in a dance with the Maasai tribe in northern tanzania during the circumcision party of two of my friends ( they are grown - 16- and 18 year old men ). This is the sort of dance that people adorn themselves with beads, jump up and down and hum.

I had lunch with the president of Malawi!

bunjee jumped, skinny dipped, and rafter the Nile. fuck yes.

I love teaching Russian to other people, and learning as many other languages as I can.
