CURRENT MISSION

I aim to experience all I can in this lifetime, so I can look back when I'm old and not regret *not* doing the things I wanted, because as they say, you regret more the things you didn't do than those you did do ;)

Oh, and bringing a bottle or two to add to the collection never hurts your chances.

ABOUT ME

Movement fascinates me.

I'm a 36 year old icelandic guy with a zest for life. I want to experience and see as much of the world as I can fit into my busy schedule, and being here is one of the ways to achieve that!

I dance just about anything, my favourite is blues and lindy hop, though salsa and bachata have been coming on strong recently.

Oh, and I'm an actor as well, so any discussions about that or watching films is all good fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been here over 10 years now, woah, hosted people from all over the world, and loved it. Surfed a few couches myself as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Poe is a constant favourite. Then, hmm, Dan Brown, Patrick Süskind, JRR Tolkien, Dean R Koontz, Virginia Wolf and then quite a few Icelandic authors.

Recently it's been Stanislavski, Chekhov, Uta Hagen and more fantastic acting teachers.

Music, there I like, no, love Muse. Tom Waits with his furniture polishing voice is also oh so good.
My fave these days is good jazz tunes that you can dance to, and good classical music. If you can appreciate that, we'll get along just fine.

Music has always influenced my life, and I can pretty much categorize it by what music I was listening to at that time.

As to movies, I like more the action and comedy most of the time rather than romantic and drama flicks, but an old girlfriend of mine taught me to appreciate good cartoons as well, so they rank quite high as well :)
