About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well, it's nothing big, really. I would just like to rule the world. Yeah, you read that right. World domination, ultimate power, whatever you wanna call it. I'll start by controlling the government through secretive cults and spread a network of spies and informants to infiltrate the World Wide Web. Then I will pour out a huge chunk of misinformation to make my own campaign that much easier, and keep everyone in the dark about governmental affairs and such. Maybe even a base on the moon? Oh, oh! And a satellite that can incinerate any target on Earth! Yeah, that's a good start ...

But let's start with a few books first. And living abroad for a few years, learning how to act...

ABOUT ME

Recent MA grad, seeking adventure, and testing the limits of reality! I like to expand my mind through new experiences and explore a diverse amount of knowledge. I find obscure topics on history, philosophy, culture and language fascinating, and of course, comics, movies, video games and tabletop/boardgames are also kinda my thing.

I enjoy creativity and fantasy, as I am a huge fan of almost anything fictional-and I'm hopelessly addicted to Fantasy and Science Fiction. It helps me make sense of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think we have to create our own meaning from an absurd world (thanks for that one Camus). I believe that life has intrinsic meaning, and that it is largely up to ourselves to define that meaning into something tangible for us.

Meaning, you just gotta find your own meaning, brah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly go to posted events in the countries I'm in. I haven't got my own place, currently, as I'm traveling the world long-term! Sometimes, I try to find hosting as well and language exchanges.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great. It's a lot more fun to meet with someone, local or foreigner, who is invested in making new friends. I like the idea of getting to know the country better through its people.

Interests

Acting, roleplaying, gaming, fiction, writing, folklore, science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with Zen monks in a monestary in Japan. Great times!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English, and, of course, Danish.

I can teach you how to become a geek. Like, a -real- geek, not the ones claiming to be from playing Skyrim or World of Warcraft. DnD, Magic the Gathering and various other roleplaying games are keywords to me.

I can teach you how to juggle (only with three balls, so pretty basic myself), lol.

And I freely share all kinds of tidbits on ancient history, medieval times, cultures and philosophy. Don't worry, you don't have to prompt me on that. I'll do that automatically. But I've learned now when to shut up, haha!

I would like to learn to speak another language. Maybe you can help me with that? I would be especially interested in Japanese, Russian and French, currently, but I think learning any new language is exciting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My good company and stories! I'm always prepared to help out with small things (I don't mind doing dishes and cooking!). Language exchanges - I love em. If you're game, I'm not shy about teaching Danish - or English for that matter. No language beats Danish at swearing. 'Nuff said.
