About Me

I left my home in Australia over 4 years ago to go travel, including cycling 4,000km across Europe, visiting over 35 countries, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in many gyms around the world. For the past 3 years I've been based in London, living, working and training with my girlfriend Alessia (originally from Italy), who is also a Yoga Alliance 500-hours Certified Instructor.

We've both recently quit our jobs, gave up our flat in central London to travel in search of warmer weather and hopefully a new home at the end of it - training in as many gyms as we can along the way.

Our rough plan for the rest of the year is New York, San Diego, LA, San Francisco, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. After that we plan to spend a few weeks back at my home in Australia and then on to Asia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosted quite a few times in my travels, but more often I've found that couchsurfing is such a great way to meet new people in a new city, whether locals or other travelers, and just hang out, explore together, have a drink or just a great conversation!

Interests

My two biggest passions are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which I have been training for 8 years (please don't confuse with capoeira or karate haha), and photography which I have studied for 2 years in photography school. Whenever there is sunshine you will find me outdoors, usually at the beach, and I also love art exhibitions, delicious food (mostly just the eating part, not so much the cooking), yoga, hiking, beer, wine, whiskey, music, books, cycling and motorbikes.
