Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and do and learn as much as I can to keep growing and changing as a person.
ABOUT ME
I'm American and a currently Peace Corps Volunteer, until June 2013. The I will be a nomad for a while before heading back to America. I love meeting new people and learning about them and from them. I'm friendly and love to try new things. I've got the travel bug and I am itching to go see something new and do something exciting!
PHILOSOPHY
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Life is a journey, not a destination.
The core of man's spirit comes from new experiences.
We must exercise ourselves in the things which bring happiness, since, if that be present, we have everything, and, if that be absent, all our actions are directed toward attaining it." -Epicurus
Character is what you do when no one is watching you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will offer a empty bed, show you around Suva, give you advice on what to see and do in Fiji, cook good food, drink shitty wine, and share stories.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only ever hosted, when I leave Fiji I will hopefully be surfing!
Interests
I am interested in learning how to cook foods from different cultures, learning about different religions, seeing things that most tourists don't see, studying wildlife, and learning about the culture and customs of people. I enjoy being outside and hiking/swimming/farming or anything active.
