About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Surfing in Los Angeles ;) Adventure. Loving and living life to the fullest. Creativity!

ABOUT ME

I traveled extensively in the US, in Eastern Europe and in Turkey. I am very environmentally minded and care about sharing resources and experiences. Having co-lived with individuals all throughout my life, it has become an issue of spiritual sustainability to share, give and cherish what is offered. There's been times in my life when I disliked my fellow human but I am far far from thinking that way any longer. Arts, history, geology, architecture, literature, education, language, linguistics, travel, environmental and political activism are some of the areas I am passionate about. I love getting to know myself through others.

PHILOSOPHY

Laugh as loud as you can, dance as much as you can, share as much as you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Perpetuate love and share. That's my motto. I love thinking and feeling individuals. My family and I are very sharing people. I don't believe in misery and rotting in one's tiny corner, be it a small room or a gigantic country. I love other adventurers without any expectation beside enjoying the journey itself. A true adventurer's spirit is the best thing one can have.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I shared dorms, shared homes, apartments, livingrooms. I lived in an intentional community, in camps, and every place else one sleeps in. A mobile home was the best when my daughter (19 yrs old living in LA) and I, along with her grandmother took extended trips to National Parks all over the US.

Interests

Communal living, cooking, exchanging stories, traveling. I have done them all and do enjoy it as much as giving someone their couch/room/ space to merely be. Silence sometimes is louder than words and it is another form of communication. As a host, I would like to make you feel comfortable and welcome without imposing much on you or without taking away from your cherished private time. I am pretty flexible afterall.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, jebus. There are so many authors, books, music and films to list. Well, let me put it this way: As a filmmaker (decades earlier that was) and as an author, I read and watched so many works of art that I couldn't possibly jot them down here. But, I do love postmodern works in literature and art house/foreign fims when it comes to cinema. World music/rock/punk and folk music from around the globe are my choices in music. Right now, I am listening to THe Alan Parson's Project's Pyramid album.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lauren Bon's Meat and Honey exhibit was fascinating. I loved Marrakech and Prague. Transformation of good friends fascinate me :)

Teach, Learn, Share

From Feng Shui to Linguistics, I studied many things formally and informally. I love anyone who can teach me something new: A new dish or a new board game. I am all about learning and teaching so bring it on!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Home made dishes, warmth, wine, laughter, joy, nerdy info and beach walks!
