About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel, learn and create as much as I possibly can. Seeing the world through the perspective of different cultures is something that drives me.
ABOUT ME
Once I graduated from university with a degree in Technical Photography and a minor in Advertising and Graphic Design, I decided to begin traveling, and have been doing it ever since. It's been about 4 years now, and I don't regret a moment of it, as I feel that my travels have made me who I am today.
Normally while traveling I participate in Help Exchanges (working in exchange for a place to sleep) mainly on farms, in hostels and teaching English. I've had incredible experiences doing this in Thailand, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama and Turkey.
Most recently I spent time studying yoga and meditation in Nepal, and then traveled throughout India. It was an incredibly eye-opening experience, and I do hope to make it back to that region of the world again soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined a friend couch surfing in Izmir, Turkey and had such a great experience that I had to sign up for myself! Since I have CS'd a few times in Turkey as well as in the US and look forward to continuing to meet people from all over the world.
One day when I am standing still for a moment, I plan to host guests of my own to pay back all of the kind people who have helped me along my travels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent time working for a gibbon rehabilitation project and elephant nature park in Thailand. Also more recently, I started off on a road trip around the United States that ended up lasting 8 months, and was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know about photography and design but there is always so much more to learn!
I am very interested in learning more about permaculture, herbology and smaller non-profit work.. I am thinking of going back to school but will wait until I have figured out exactly what I want to focus on before making that move.
