Hey I'm Sam, everyone calls me Slew. I'm from the sunshine coast of Australia. I worked as a plumber and gas fitter for four years completing my apprenticeship. Now I'm working on a 70m Super yacht in the Mediterranean and Caribbean as a water sports instructor for Dan Snider, the owner of the Washington Redskins NFL team.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be going to London mid April to find a camper van and then taking it across to Europe for 6 months or so. I would love to stay with a local in London town to get the feel of the city and really find out the best places. Also i would like to use couch surfing for places to stay on the road threw Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my 5th solo skydive my parachute failed to open properly and i had to cut it away and pull my reserve chute at 1500ft above the ground.
