About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world and meet amazing people

ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving care free kind of guy. I really like meeting new people and having conversations about anything. The guy in the elevator that feels the need to break the silence? Yeah that is me. I like getting out in the world and making the most of life. I have my beliefs and my perspective of the world but I understand that I am one of nearly 7 billion and don't expect everyone to agree with me.

PHILOSOPHY

The only thing you take to the grave is the story of your life, so what are you writing?
Time is the most precious thing we have and we all should make the best of it. Live life well, smile often and don't hold on to negativity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't surfed any couches officially but I am looking forward to doing so. I would love to host, but until my current living situation changes I am unable to do so :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Does crashing at your friends place count?

Interests

Art, music, gardening, traveling, science, technology, working with my hands and food for starters. I am kind of geeky when it comes to technology because it is exciting to read about and see all of the new things people are creating. Music is the universal language and I listen to music from all around the world. Gardens are living art to me and recently I have started gardening which may turn into a new hobby.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading books is not a pass time of mine but I listen to music enough that my life may end up with it's own soundtrack. I think it goes along with my pleasure of visiting new places that I love music from all corners of the globe, despite not being able to understand it most of the time. The genre of movies isn't so much a concern as the depth of the story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Agua Azul and Palenque would have to be two of my favorite things I have seen. There was this really old church in Spain that I swear you could feel the presence of God in. Skydiving isn't special, but incredible still. I have also eaten a 3 1/2 lb cheeseburger in less than 30 minutes (fun but not worth repeating).

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I can do/teach? Umm... well I am fairly handy so I can fix and install pretty much anything in a house. I may not teach well but I am always for helping people practice spanish and dari too. If I took the time to write any of my recipes or measure anything I put in them for that matter, I could give a few cooking lessons too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Pakistan, Spain, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In
