About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world and learning new cultures through meeting new friends

ABOUT ME

Accepting of all sorts of new situations, I am constantly searching for new experiences. This has led me down a slightly unconventional path throughout my life. But a very important part about me is that you can't just go through life experiencing things without giving back, so that is why I've always tried to travel in a way in which I'm engaged and involved in local communities.
PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that you have to be accepting of everyone, and I believe that you can only be accepting of different people if you meet them and truly see their mindset.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing helped me travel across Brazil, and then I opened up my house in the United States. Now I'm living in Guatemala and hoping to use couch surfing to better know Guatemala.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed at a couple places in Brazil and completely love it! Met wonderful people which have been able to show me the cities I've stayed at from the locals viewpoint. Then took those experiences to share my hometown with people staying at my house

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, one moment that left me awestruck was when I was living in Campanha, Minas Gerais. I had been living with the mayor of the town, helping him during the election. When the day finally came to declare who would win, everyone in the city had gathered in the plaza. When they heard that the mayor I was living with had won again, people burst out in cheers and some people were crying they were so happy. That is a moment that will stay in my memory for the rest of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel that there is so much for me to learn out in this world. Everyone one has a special talent or something to contribute to another person. If you ever want to learn a few words in Portuguese or Spanish, I'd be more than glad to teach you a few things. Let's see how we can be most useful to each other.
