I'm married with two sons that have families of their own. My wife and I are about to retire and travel and just recently heard about Couch Surfing. What a great way to meet local people.I'm currently self employed working as a barber and my wife is a nurse manager working with Interior Health.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it now, you only live once.

Yesterday is but a cancelled cheque
Tomorrow is but a promissory note
But today is cash in the hand that must be well spent.

As my wife and I are brand new to this I guess we will just have to try our best and hope it all works out. It always does when both parties try.

Interests

My interests include family, anything motorbike related especially overland touring. We plan to tour Latin America in the next couple years and have another place in Mexico where we will be wintering.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love smooth jaz, salsa, R&B, Texican and just about everything except rap and other genres with no musical substance. With that said, I don't like classical either. I'm more of a classic rock kinda person

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled the world with the Canadian Navy.

Rode my dirtbike from Penticton to the north shore of Alaska and back. More than 13,000 kilometres round trip.
