About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get inspiration, spread inspiration, and meet a lot of different people.

ABOUT ME

I am a wine enthusiast. So huge an enthusiast that I have taken 114 days off, to travel Germany and France, to visit wine producers.

My friends say I am and old man, trapped in a young body. Maybe because I like to listen to good old jazz, operas, and classical music. I don't know, but it suits me fine.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you want to do, and do anything you can to wake up happy every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to start couchsurfing when I travel, and I also want to lent out my couch to people, when I find my own place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with some people in my home town, and crashed on couches in Paris and London. Hopefully I will soon be able to provide a couch for guests, but I am not quiet sure when.

Interests

I love discussing (or just talking about) different subjects of all kinds. That being litterature, design philosophy, politics, economics, you hit me I am ready. Only by sharing your ideas and thoughts, and listen to others as well, we can develope. This is also why I am a huge fan of TED-talks. They are a good basis for a new conversation, and starting your thoughts on a new subject.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical Music; Mozart, Bach, Michael Nyman.
Old Jazz: Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
New music: Michael Buble, Jill Barber, Justin Timberlake and The Weeknd.
Books: James Bond, The Three musketeers (or just Alexandre Dumas in general), Fifty Shades of Grey (ya, I read the first book and look forward to the last two.. It is great literature!)
Movies: Limitless, The Usual Suspect....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I am doing right now: Saying goodbye to my life in Denmark, to pursue my dream of becoming a sommelier.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach everything I know, and learn everything you van teach me.
If to narrow it down. So far I can teach a lot on cocktails, wine, spirits, etc. But I also have a decent knowledge of economics, politics, social structure, business, etc.
I would love to learn how to play the piano. I have a dream of sitting at a nice big piano, playing some amazing quiet pieces, just embracing the soft tunes... Oh man :)

A clever man said recently: Be a teacher! If you are in doubt of what to do, be an amazing teacher. It doesn't have to be forever, maybe just for some years. And even if you are not a teacher, be a teacher. Share your ideas. Don't take for granted your education. Rejoice in what you've learned, and spray it.
