About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, meet some amazing people, have a great time.

ABOUT ME

https://www.facebook.com/joseph.mash
19 Year old Gap year traveller looking to do and see some amazing things before I sell my soul and go to study law at university. As a person I consider myself laid back/easy going and definitely willing to try new things. I'm also terrible at describing myself so if you have any questions feel free!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to waste, go out and see the world and experience amazing things before you are too old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Completely new to the whole Couchsurfing idea, one of my friends in Bangalore told me she was hosting someone and i instantly made a profile as I'm going to be travelling around the world.

Interests

I'm a PADI Divemaster and so love diving, i also enjoy drinking/going out, trekking, surfing, driving etc, if its fun I'll probably be interested.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love far too many films to mention a few, varying music tastes but in particular bands such as Red hot Chilli peppers, Oasis, Kasabian, The black keys, etc. Also a big book reader (studied Eng Lit at College), favourites include, A clockwork Orange, 'A song of ice and fire'-series and The book thief.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In november 2013 I started my Divemaster course in Indonesia on an island called Nusa Lembongan and it was honestly the best 8 weeks of my life. I worked there and learnt so much not just from my Instructor Sarah but from the local people and other travellers. As a person it changed me immensely, I learnt to not be afraid approaching and talking to other people, travelling is as much about the people you meet, as the things you do.

Teach, Learn, Share
