About Me

BACK ON COUCHSURFING AFTER COVID 19 !

We start a world trip with my wife from March 2022 until... who knows ? Starting by Mexico and trying to go down towards Argentina ! We definitely want to know each of you, to share time, culture, experience, recipes, activities and hang out of course ! I used couchsurfing a lot when I was in Marseille to host incredible people, I'm sure I can meet incredible people all over the world now !

I have a big passion for sports and everything that turns around sports, especially for soccer, running and tennis.
I made sport a job in my life as i am a biomechanics engineer : "Choose a job that you love and you'll never work a day in your life"
I work on the development of sport gears, as running shoes, ankle braces, golf clubs... I used to work especially for Decathlon company and scientific knowledge of running biomechanics in order to improve the Kalenji running shoes.

But sport is not everything of course.. drinking a beer and hanging out are also my other kind of passion in life.

I do love hiking and exploring what the world offers to us, especially when I'm away from Marseille.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I heard about Couchsurfing was when I made my graduate internship for Nike Golf in 2014 in Dallas in the United States. I was looking for great people to meet in order to share great moments and visits and that's exactly what I did. All the experiences that I had were awesome.

I know everyone says that on their couchsurfing profile...I think, nothing is much better than meeting new people in new places to share passions and way of living. Those meetings help each other to always be open-minded. People can show you what their country or their place worth the most and that is not in some kind of guide a million times published for tourists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will switch amazing by crazy for this story...

Living in Marseille, I'm a big fan of the well-known soccer team Olympique de Marseille. In 2018, Marseille managed to reach the final of the Europa League Cup which was totally unexpected by the way. The final took place in Lyon, which is purely Marseille enemy (also with PSG), only 3 hours driving away from Marseille. I let you imagine how many people in Marseille wanted to go to Lyon's stadium... 3 friends of mine and I have waited more than 12 hours in the street (from 10:30 pm to 11:30 am) to finally get our tickets (like people do when the new iPhone comes out...)!

All this story.. for losing ! I will never do it again. .. until next time ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to show you my city the same way I'd expect you to show me your city.
Marseille is a great place to live with so many things to do and visit.
I live near "Les calanques de Marseille" which is definitely the thing you must visit before leaving. I'll be glad to give you a ride with my scooter as having a car in Marseille is such a terrible idea because of the traffic.

If you come to my place during the week days, I won't have so much time to spend with you because of work except during the evening and the night. Diner and good conversations will be welcome during these times.

During the week end, I should have more time to show you and explore what you want to see.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Greece, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Spain, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States
