ABOUT ME

Starting a new adventure called parenthood. The days of spontaneous travel with whatever fits in a backpack are gone, but this new adventure is proving to be just as thrilling. I live with my husband Dan, our infant son Jameson, our cat Tiny Dancer, and our dog Evey.
Dan works as a wildlife specialist at a research extension center and I am currently doing the stay at home mom thing. We are both huge into birdwatching (been known to plan entire trips on seeing one bird). We also love to travel and backpack. I enjoy running, cooking, trying new things (especially food), drinking and brewing beer, ice hockey, and anything to do with the outdoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Dan and I love the idea of couch surfing, and enjoyed many great times so far, and looking forward to more to come!

We participate in both hosting and surfing, as well as just meeting up people for drinks or events or whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have never had a bad experience with CS. We've surfed all around the USA on epic road trips, and around the UK and Ireland. We also host as often as we can and enjoy it just as much.

We would be happy to take you on a little birding/wildlife expedition if there is time. Who knows, you might see some birds you've never seen or even heard of before!
I love to learn more about pretty much anything and will try almost anything once (especially food!), so I would love to learn /share in anything our guests or hosts have to offer!
