ABOUT ME

Hello. I work in International development, love meeting interesting people and fellow travellers. Having forgotten about this amazing community for years, I'm now realising what a pity it is that I have missed out on all the incredible experiences it brings. I currently work in International Development but have been doing bits and bobs all my life, as a government worker, primary school teacher and an Innovation Consultant.

I love to read and love having lofty conversations about life's meaning (regularly interspersed with fart jokes), but I also love exciting days and nights where anything could happen! I'm not a great chef, but I am a semi-decent ukulele player, so if I stay with you I can sing for my supper!

PHILOSOPHY

The universe is amazing. I am lucky to experience it. Be thankful and revel in it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offered my room back at university, but never had a visitor. Unfortunately I'm now in a house where my flatmates aren't too keen on the idea, despite cajoling, but as soon as I'm somewhere a bit more chilled out, I am keen to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a month in cape town hanging out with the couch surfing community there. Made a great bunch of friends and had an awesome time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on national Chinese TV, singing on the Great Wall of China with my school's choir when I was 13.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to strum a few basic chords on the Ukulele or chat about human psychology. I would love to learn how to cook your favourite meal so I can show up my dad when I return home!
