ABOUT ME

I consider myself as an easygoing and smiling person. There isn`t in genenal a bad time for me, as I try to keep myself happy and enthusiastic about life and humanity by always looking more at the good sides of everything, including people. I give much more value for the positive attitudes than to the negatives ones when I am "evaluating" how good things and people are. It is also part of my belief that we can manage any problem. I have seen several times problems becoming a relieved laugh! Some take longer to become though, well, just look around with open eyes. One of my main personal phylosophies is "take it easy with yourself and you will naturally do your best". So, most of the time I just let things go! Life, love and experiences. Tastes and emotions. Happiness and sadness. I am also a colourful person, yeap, I have fancy pants man! I like what is cozy and original, no always together. I must also tell you that I am a mortal (ok that is common sense), but what I mean by that is that please don´t expect a genious like Van Gogh knocking your door or pressing your doorbell or whatever... I´m a "normal" person who likes nice talks, walk empty streets, love sleeping the day and enjoying the night. I think I have good things to say and share, but I am not gonna brag about them, I just hate to be pretentious about things, feelings and art. I just hope you will like my stories and mysellf as they are and I am, boring or amazing, you and I will find that out together.

My drawbacks are: I cannot speak with precision about anything, but to be sincere, that is actually a good thing. I like the flavour of being always in doubt because that is actually the real truth regarding anything in the universe. We can never be sure, though sometimes almost. I also have problems in remembering people´s name and places. So, if you can say your name more than once that will be really sweet. I hope you understand my limitation. I also don´t know dates with precision and I´m dyslexic (if you haven´t noticed yet).

Well, summing up the whole idea of telling things about me, I just wanna tell you one simple thing: I seek happiness. That´s all.

Talking a little bit more about myself (I´m very talkative). I am a simple person besides of the fact that I might look fancy, speaking of appearence. I do not require much more than awesome friends, passion, inspiration, travels, enough money to allow me to have interesting experiences and metting unique people (it is a lot actually, but nothing that requires much of where I am at neither from the people I come to have as part of my life). Last thing, I love digging as many details of someone´s culture as time and one´s patience allow. Don´t think I am invasive, I am just curious!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

attending to CS meetings, organizing meetings myself, travelling with CSs ...

Hosting is a plan, I will make it to come true soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in several places, just to illustrate: Prague, Oxford, London,Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Ribeirão Preto, Stockholm, Paris and Berlin... ... ...

Moreover, I met CS members at uncoutable places such as in Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon and so on and so forth.

CS meetings in Rio and Munich.

Interests

I am interested in travelling throughout the world, meeting as many places and people as it is possible. I´m totally open-minded, trully one person who doesn´t care about the side of your ideas, what you prefer for you life, how/where you were born at and who you are in terms of your personality... but well as for everything in life there is a limit there. I just hope you are not a bad person, a murder, a dictator, an asshole and those other characteristis of stupid people. Be sure, I smell that up in the air. This doesn´t mean at all than you and I will not have discussions about your and my ideas. I rather just want to make it clear here that I will never, at any occasion or by any chance, judge you for your genuine ideas. Again, exceptions: I don´t usually like people who puts religious at first place and above anything or anyone else. You might want to have the companion of someone else if you are a "religiousholic".

That is another cool thing to say. Yeah, although it might not seem at first hand, I do like first to listen to people. Learning is my first and most crucial aim but I can naturally teach some stuff as well. What? It all depends, we will see.

Biology I guess is what I do best. I´m an evolutionist and Darwin is for sure a great person to my eyes. Evo-Devo, this is the name of my research field that means Evolutionary Developmental Biology. So, I study the development of very cute and tiny embryos (in general).

I love learning different things. Note: anything, of course, that doesn´t hurt anybody or myself. The hurting clause has some exceptions for certain moments, not relevant here at all.

I would like to learn basic guitar lessons. But a note of advice here, if you wanna teach me you better know that I´ve never played before. But learning is a huge wish ... this wish is being a wish for too long, I want to learn asap.

I like arts, architecture, music and good movies, quite normal options actually. Sometimes people say I am an artists myself, that would be easy for me to claim if I would live in NY, but! Anyway, I do some stuff that I will be glad to show you.

By teh way, I "urge" you to let me to get to know new movies and bands. I could stay for several uninterrupted hours listening to new songs, sounds and mentally processing new images... I love visual arts and as a dislexic myself it cannot exist better way for learnign and keeping fond memories than just looking at things, just love it! and photography is something that attracts me a lot. If you have some skills as a photographer (even amatuer, doesn´t matter) and feels like sharing them with me, please, do it! I will appreaciate. I don´t have an awesome camera, just a simple Minolta X570 (film). I nevertheless consider my vision somewhat privileged, not always though. People acuse me of being cheesy at times.

I love having fun!!!!!!! Have fun with me! Make fun of me! Create fun with me!
