This is me in a nutshell."Ahhhh, I'm stuck in a nutshell! Various interests include reading, hiking, rock hopping, skiing/snowboarding, snow-shoeing, tobogganing, skating, snow angels, biking, running, jumping, exploring, adventuring, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sand-boarding, water skiing, tubing, kite boarding, rock climbing, water-sliding, boating, rowing, wind surfing, sparring, sword-fighting, fencing, spinning various objects (on fire when possible), meditating, performing, practising, watching movies, hanging out, shooting some pool, and generally enjoying myself. Most importantly I am a hoopy frood who knows where his towel is at all times...

Travelling as a way of life or life as a way of travelling?

I believe that anything you set your mind on is possible.
The world is a strange and magical place. People are here to experience the energy and magic of it all. I'm a firm believer that things like Couchsurfing are bringing the world closer together, and in a good direction.

I try and always be a part of CS locally and abroad both by hosting, helping out with information where I can, enjoying various events and of course surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the great opportunity to surf, and attend CS gatherings all over the world. I do my best to host, meet fellow travelers, and offer any help where I can. This site has enriched my life immensely. I hope I can enrich others lives through these means as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I love to read, and I read all sorts of strange stuff, but I'm a fantasy nerd at heart.
My favourite authors include Tolkien (of course), Robert Jordan, Douglas Adams, Vonnegut, Orwell, Stackpole, and Palahniuk.

Music:
Just like the rest of you, I have an eclectic taste in tunes.
As a past metal head, I still have a soft spot in my heart for Rammstein, COB, Metallica, and Amon Amarth.
I dig a little of everything else, straying furthest away from gangster rap and new-time country/western. That being said I also really dig Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ben Rogers, Hank the 3rd which all classify as western, and the occasional Eminem song whets my whistle too, so those genres are not out nessesarily.

Movies:
I'm not a cultivated film watcher. My favourite film of all time is the Matrix.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy and new Hobbit trilogy are right up there on my list as well.
I couldn't name you many directors, but I do like Ridley Scott and Guy Ritchie, nor many actors/actresses, but I like Hugh Jackman, Sylvestre Stallone, and Natalie Portman. Give me a good action flick anyday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ran atop the Great Wall of China!
Ive rock-hopped along the Giants Causeway!
I've trekked through the Andes with nothing but a bad map and my backpack!
I've conversed with the Cosmic Serpent!
I've won world championships!
I've swung like Tarzan on jungle vines!
I've yelled "freedom" at the top of my lungs from mountaintops, and treetops, worldwide!
These are highlights of my existence.

I live my dreams everyday as an entrepreneurial performer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think sharing should be first on this list, but hey, I don't run the website.
I like to share experiences, ideas, and thoughts best, but I feel sharing is an important part of life, one often forgotten in today's society.

I've worked as skating instructor, an ice dance partner, a self-defense instructor, and as a Siso in two styles of traditional gung-fu and qigong. I would love to teach any of these things.

I'm always open to learning! I heard about a teach-ability index once when I was 15 and I've striven to make my teach-ability index as high as possible ever since.
