ABOUT ME

I was living your average life up until about 8 years ago when it all changed in an instant. I was rustled up by life and was forced by life to move to Maui ;) The rest is history, your classic Spiritual Journey ensued. Since then my life has literally been like a movie, a magical one, well sometimes like a drama, but whose isn't right. So many crazy things have happened that have all led to one another in so many unsuspecting ways. After taking 2.5 years off work, I am back in the corporate world....another thing I thought I would never ever do. I am loving it! I work in the most chill place, with the most chill people selling vacations. Sell what you love they say. Would love to meet you if you have some interesting stories to tell ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to love. That starts with yourself to yourself by yourself. What we see hear feel taste and smell is not all there is. Things are more than they appear to be. Forgive, play, dance, love, take chances, trust, forgive, forgive and forgive. Treat others as you want to be treated and take time to appreciate the little miracles that happen every day. The more at peace you are with yourself and the world around you the more magical life becomes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in Cancun, my roommate and I constantly had surfers....it was AWESOME! Still friends with many of them.....Just now getting back into the swing of things. I have been the traveler many times and now I am ready to start hosting.

It's been great....awesome awesome awesome!!!! Still in touch with many people that I have met along the way. Each one of them has been a stellar individual.

Interests

Anything that brings inner peace and inner joy. Just learning to be present. I love real, genuine conversation and any conversation that makes me laugh. I love a Captain and Coke, a nice beer or a great wine. I love going to the theater, I love sports, I love being in the park or walking along the Hudson. Most of all I love connecting with people that want to be connected. Life is a mystery waiting to be unraveled. I also love reading books on my Ipad and watching great TV on my Macbook. I love great food. I love talking about conspiracy theory, even though I don't buy all of them....just most haha. I like discussing what is real for people and I love the ocean and sunshine and nature. Oh yes, I love puppies too, but I refuse to have one in an apartment in Manhattan.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Just finished watching Mad Men. Also love Homeland and watching the Denver Broncos. Just bought my first TV in 7 years, as before I was too "spiritual" ;)

Books: Celestine Prophecy forever changed my life. Sex at Dawn is a book everyone should read. Loved Hunger Games.

Movies: Too many to name. I really loved the Help, it affected my deeply somehow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

The biggest thing I learned on my spiritual journey, is that it brought me right back to myself, to my inner knowing and guidance. All along the way, I thought I knew so much. In the end, even though it's not the end, I realize I don't that much at all, but I am open to learning from and experiencing life in each moment. I have had some totally outrageous and magical experiences and I love to share them, with people that are open to hearing them. I also love hearing others experiences and then becoming aware of the commonality that is deep inside all of us somewhere.
