ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Jonathon. I am Australian and I travel a lot! I have made my way through Malaysia, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia Singapore, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Canada, and USA.

So, I'm pretty much a nomad. I've been touring and doing shows in festivals for the past 6 years so I know how to be a good and respectful house guest.

I am very easy going, clean, and will help around the house because I often feel guilty about staying with people. I like to pat dogs and cats. Sometimes, I am traveling with a friend, sometimes I am by myself. I have some websites you can check out to find out what I do:

Yes, I do comedic type stuff (hence why I travel so much) but please don't judge me on that - I hate comedians too... I'm traveling at the moment doing festivals and shows in Nth America and Europe.

I'm only 58kg and very non-threatening.

I enjoy couches and find them more forgiving than beds.

When Traveling:
I would like to stay with local people in places around the world. I am a storyteller and I want to write and tell stories about these experiences. I've also created/creating a travel/comedy photographic exhibition and book called 'Pretending Things are a Cock' here is the fan page:

When not Traveling: I would like to try and host people (but it is often quite hard for me as I quite often don't have a place) or meet up with traveling people so I can remember what it was like to travel and I'm happy to show you around or go out for a drink and things like that. I have access to lots of free tickets for things to do in Melbourne!

I also often arrange for free tickets to storytelling events and my festival shows for CSers as I like to give something to this community when I can't host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a fair few stay at my place in Australia (when I have one). I have stayed with some people I have met on my travels (and experienced much more and made some great friends).

I've surfed couches in Brazil, Toronto, Montreal, Washington, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, San Francisco and LA. Nobody murdered me... except with kindness - ouch.

I like couches as I am small enough to fit quite comfortably on one.
