About Me

ABOUT ME

I’m retired but still play with cameras, digital old school photography ( studying magic in light), novice cinematography, graphics, music, sound design, sonic meditation, and some light hiking, outdoors exploring. …all with whoever visits and shares/collaborates with any of these hobbies

PHILOSOPHY
Backyard philosophy rules.
There are lots of ideas to ponder for the future, let's get it on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Perhaps you would like to stop in share some food, rest up and maybe pitch in for an hour or a day with whatever project is going on, or just chat about the big existential questions, maybe hike the area, share some creative urges, make food.

I like to share older good movies/music sometimes esp in bad weather.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had dozens of fine CS'ers stay here over the past decade. Overall a good experience

Interests

existential concepts, imaging, recording, designing, recycling for a smaller life footprint, simplified modular living, rethinking social alternatives.
recently: post middle class, urban and rural survival skills sharing with everyone!

Music, Movies, and Books

folk, blues, jazz, alternative, poetics, philosophy, films, esp. saviour movies, art films, good indie and alternative creative expression.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I prize a general existential overview of life on earth. Slow down, get out of the race to die with more, if we have more let’s try to share what we’ve learned and use it well

Teach, Learn, Share

Nature is our habitat in a huge organism we barely comprehend. Remember to respect it all and tread as lightly as needed to get by

I live on the grid, but minimalist function, not much meat, not much processed food, as much home food as my laying hens and garden can provide. I will have jobs to do (holding a ladder to repair roof, building, designing, as well as ideas to mash brains with. If you have a day to 2 to share out of your own travels/life, then it should be a fun experience for everybody, maybe we will come away with some new insight or skill for further on down the road to future.
