About Me

There are few things that satisfy me like traveling. Whether it be hiking through the woods, on a bicycle, or for a few days by the ocean, I live for the next adventure. I have realized that this desire doesn't always match up with reality and so I am doing my best to find a balance between motion and stillness.

I am currently embarking on another kind of adventure, one where I go to work five days a week and live in a house with four walls and a roof.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I find that when people open up their arms to each other and spread warmth, it makes the world a better place. There's something to be said about letting a stranger into your home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Usually just hang around with friends till it gets too late for someone to drive me home. I begun in New Zealand and was there for 6 months or so, and this website was extremely helpful in getting to know people and finding places to stay.

Interests

I love my bicycle, gossamer fabrics, commercials found on VHS tapes, gardening/spending time in nature, helping others, music, appreciating things to their utmost extent (especially people)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ever since I was 13, I insisted that anyone who's stepped into my room in my childhood home must sign the walls. It was amazing to see the accumulation of art and expression over the years. And I was never in want of something beautiful to look at. Since then my parents have painted over the signatures, but the memories still remain strong. Also jumping off bridges into water is really great.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm usually a great problem solver, whether it has to deal with the physical realm or that of the human psyche. I know how to tie hemp bracelets, and am quick on my feet. I love exercise and feeling good, and Im ready to try and make anyone laugh. I'd like to think I'm creative/artistic. I have these hands on the end of my arms that cant stop finding things to do, and Im totally up for constructing/running errands/creating.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cank cook up a good hearty meal (probably veggie/vegan), I can play the drums, and I will listen to you with all of my heart.
