About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a zen master

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a large wheat farm near Condobolin in country NSW, where I spent most of my childhood building cubby houses and catching yabbies in the dam with my three sisters. Travelling when I was young generally involved epic drives out in to the desert with the family. We'd travel thousands of kilometres in search of the perfect camping ground- nothing quite like sleeping under the stars in the complete silence of the desert.

I studied Psychology at the University of Wollongong in Australia, and finished at the end of 2008. Like many a young graduate I was overwhelmed by the big questions, like what to do with my life, so I decided to head off travelling for a while to give myself time to ponder.

I spent 18 months travelling and working in France and Senegal, and during that time discovered the joys of couch surfing. I'm now back in Australia. Thinking back to the incredible kindness bestowed on me while I was travelling, I'm pretty keen to help out a weary traveller here in oz as best I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for my friends and family, and if I can help out some other people along the way then that's great too.
