ABOUT ME

(Mexico, 1979). Multimedia and sound artist. He studied Metallurgy and Engineering Communications and Electronics at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional as well as Educational Television Production at the Centro de Capacitación Televisiva. Works in electronic and software architecture, as well as in multimedia production and improvisation, and is an active supporter of DIY culture. Has developed apps and interactive pieces for CONACULTA, Nike and others. Winner of the Movistar Iron Geek award 2011. His audiovisual work has been exhibited at festivals and exhibitions in Mexico, Italy, and Colombia. Has edited his audio works with the netlabels: Noise Entertaiment (MEX), Paax (MEX) Torn Flesh Records (USA), Surrism-Phonoethics (DEU) Plasticrane (ITA), Intox Noise (RUS) WakuShoppu (CZE), Editora du Porto (BRA) Anything Records (JPN), as well as having participated in compilations for Mosquito Recordings (MEX), EventNow (GBR) Torn Flesh Records (USA), Audition Records (DEU), Ifar Label (GBR). Has presented his improvisation act live in Mexico City, Puebla, Rome, and Prague.
