ABOUT ME

All about me... Well, I'm Syndy :) I grew up in a small town in Bas St Laurent, Qc. I studied carpentry (cabinet making) and Visual Art hoping to make a career out of it, that didn't happen !! It's Ok because I love my life the way it is. I love the fact that life is full of surprises. I rather to go with the flow taking it day by day. I am that kind of person who always is on the go... I just Can't stand a routine so gotta keep on rolling !!

I started travelling about 7 years ago. I never expected I would love it so much !! I first left in order to learn english. Through internet, I somehow got a Job In Alberta, CA. I lived there for 5 months and met a bunch of amazing people from all over the world. Even though the adaptation was hard because of language barrier, I had a blasting time !! SO from there I went on a trip around the world and on and on and on...

Weird how It feels so right to be elsewhere u don't belong to, right !? I have found happiness travelling. I have found joy and great people every places that I have been. I try to spend as much time as possible on the road. Which means work, work, work part of the time and live, live, live the rest of the time.

These past years I have missed my art stuff a lot. Its a way for me to express myself, to see more clearly, to find answer. Because I Find it hard to combine travelling and creating I have decided to take a break from travelling :O So my current mission is to stay put, find a job a really enjoy, spend time with my family and friends and first of all get back to my art... À suivre !!

No matter Where you are The people your are with is what matters the most !! We all got stuff to learn from each others, No exception !! So Couch Surfing is, 4 me, a way to share what I am, what I know and to learn from you fellows :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've mostly surfed and just started hosting !! Bcuz I Had not had a home in yearsss :S Been on the road pretty much !! But now that I got a place I am really happy to give back... I am really, really looking forward to host u fellow CS !! :) Also I like to meet Couch Surfers... Get coffees or do stuff !! CS isnt just a place to sleep, Its much more !! An ocean of people to meet !! I have met open minded, genuine and colourful people through CS, Only the greatest :) Good times !!!
