ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing , bubbly, energetic, passionate, and fun. I like to read,run, go out with friends, study Chinese , watch how I met your mother, and explore the city. I live in Beijing and I've fallen in love with the city. I teach English and study Chinese. I graduated with a degree in International Affairs with a minor in French. I love history, politics, and learning about other cultures.

Interests

I always say living in china is this huge mix of always being an adventure and a pain in the ass. It is full of so many challenges! I love it nonetheless and it grows me and shapes me. It certainly humbles me. I often walk around the city listening to music and soaking in my surroundings. I spend some of time working and a lot of time hanging out with my friends. We go to bars, cafes, and restaurants. I love a good movie with a great soundtrack.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I traveled throughout the Tibetan plateau. I went to many different cities and it truly showed me a different side of China. It was extremely beautiful but also very poor. There are people in Beijing living in penthouses, driving bentleys, and drinking Starbucks while on the other side of china, there are people living in houses made of mud. The contrast is astonishing and it's crazy to believe it all occurs in one country.
