CURRENT MISSION

I am currently looking for a school to study pastry and become a pastry chef, such exciting times!!!

ABOUT ME

Originally from Greece, I left to go to London to study business at Westminster uni. After 4 years there I realised I need more sun in my life and so I moved to Spain where I lived another 5 years in Barcelona, Madrid and Tenerife.
After a short period in Paris where I only went to museums and ate croissants(!), I moved back to Greece for three years and learnt therapeutic massage, Bach flower therapy and also started working in pastry.
I moved to Berlin because I fell in love with a German (have you ever heard that before...?!?! 😝) and although we broke up after a few years I decided to stay and open my own coffee shop, which I have been doing ever since...
Now it is time to take pastry-making up a notch and learn from professionals to become professional and be able to work in amazing hotels around the world, combining my passion for cakes and desserts with new cultures and tropical places and.

PHILOSOPHY

Daily practice to remind myself that it’s not about me, that I have no control over others, that if I let go and let life express through me then I feel in sync and wonderful things happen.
I try to get on a high flying disk by going swimming, sharing with friends, baking, cooking, listening to music and from there it’s easier to stay present and live the moment.
Not always able to do all this and I go downstream but then I remember again to let go and learn my lesson :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have really liked the idea of couchsurfing since i first heard about it...since then i have offered my couch when possible and had the luck to meet interesting people through surfing and from cs meetings as well

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing that really struck me and filled me up with joy when i saw the coral beds around Ko Tao in Thailand... all those colours and shapes and tiny little creatures that move around and look at you and hide when you come near them..it totally opened up my imagination and made me dream of the next time i d get the chance to dive again...
