About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have many missions! 1. To meet enlightening, enchanting and enthusiastic people of as many different cultures and languages as possible!! 2. To spread good vibes 3. To be a good friend

ABOUT ME

"A stranger is just a friend that I have yet to meet"

PHILOSOPHY

Ishwar ek hai. God is one.

I believe in the coexistence of atheism and spiritualism. If you're up for a very long philosophic discussion, ask me about it. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like couchsurfing as a means of meeting new and interesting people, and love the atmosphere of the couchsurfing community. I generally participate inbetween studies whenever I can and look forward to hosting anyone who want to visit Lancaster. I am currently travelling and studying. I have been this year to Italy, Belgium and Spain with my language/cultural studies. My next stop is Italy, and after that I will be in Spain at Easter. Whenever I have a couch available, in whichever country I would love to host you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have now been on first couchsurfing trip in Parma, Italy :)
Great experience, can't wait to go again!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of sci-fi..and most things that aren't horror as far as film is concerned. I mostly like historically based, science fiction, and true story based films :) and bollywood !! (just recently watched 3 idiots ^^)
I like theatre, and some musicals, especially Les Miserables. Also went on an unforgettable trip to see the Lion King in London - definitely recommended. ^^
Music wise I like: Classical (especially classical chillout), Simon and Garfunkel, Savage Garden, Fleetwood Mac, Il Divo, Dido, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Barbra Steisand, and so many others. No particular genre, those are just a few I'm currently listening to. Also to add: getting back into the legendary Bob Marley and discovering Lucky Dube =)

TV wise I seem to be a documentary kinda person - anything new relating to technology, science or psychology interests me. I enjoy series such as: Lost, X files, 24, Prison Break. (but I have yet to find the time to finish watching these series). Also good comedy, I particularly like Bill Bailey and Steven K Amos at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a month with people from 25 different countries, speakers of 20 different languages, yet communicated in just one: Catalan. As a complete beginner starting this trip it was pretty daunting, but ended up as the best travel experience of my life to date!

Teach, Learn, Share

hmmm I was actually interested in Esoteric theory but still find it a challenge to explain it, even if I think I now understand it!
Mostly I like language, teaching one that I know, learning one that you know.
Gymnastics, and Yoga are also favourite hobbies

Countries I’ve Visited
