About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible, meet as many people as possible.
ABOUT ME
I took some time to live in Bulgaria, and it sparked the little wander bug in me. I'm at school now, at Mount Holyoke College, studying... everything. I'm currently a double major in history and philosophy, but I've done biology, religion, russian, politics, etc.
I'm studying abroad in Athens Greece right now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in Sofia, I showed people around to all my favorite hidden spots (and the obvious famous ones, of course). In Montana, well, we don't have as many people coming through. ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done more surfing than hosting- and I've had nothing but great times. I spent a few days in Varna (BG) and just before I boarded the train back home, I decided to spend another night- and had an absolutely wonderful time.
Interests
Photography, history, poetry, knitting... I like making things, and hearing new stories. I love seeing how other people view the world, and being able to see through their eyes all the things I've gotten used to.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite authors are Guy Gavriel Kay and A.S. Byatt... but I read a lot.
I watch more TV than movies, but I'm pretty up to date one the ones everyone knows.
I like most types of music- and I love being introduced to new ones!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled a thousand miles from home, and after only four months I had a going away party. And I saw that in less than half a year, I had made so many different friends of different ages, and believes, and nationalities who I will love and remember for ever. That's the most amazing thing I've seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make jewelry, and cook/bake. I can also weld- but that's not too useful. I have taught a couple people about SLR cameras, and I am a useless font of random knowledge about very weird things
I'm terrible at instruments, but I'd love to get better? I'm quite a knitter. I used to teach people Egyptian Modern Belly Dance, and Irish Dancing- but I'm also still learning those and it's been a while...
